Happy to find Bowes cafe and food hall passing through Durrow. Very nice cafe and lovely lunch options.

We found this spot after coming off the motorway to find some proper food. We weren’t disappointed. Food was excellent, highly recommended it. Possible area for improvement is in service: it was excellent initially but we seemed to have been forgotten about and had to...ask a few times for assistance. Possible reason was we didn’t seem to have a dedicated server, so we may have fallen between the stools. But very good rating well deserved.More

Lovely lunch We have been meaning to visit here for ages and I'm so glad we did. There is a great choice of sandwiches and salads along with specials if you fancy something a bit different I had the keto bowel and was amazed hiw...lovely it was. So nice and I felt healthy afterwards too. Mum had the pulled pork burger special and ate every bite! They offer takeaway too so we got scones and sausages rolls for later. Can't wait to go backMore

I really like this place…. Everything above board when it comes to covid, certs checked but also require Id, time consuming for them but one of the few places doing it right. I ordered a wrap special and side of chips.. wrap was huge I...only ate half and took remainder away, it was delicious tandoori chicken, chips really good too. Got a takeaway coffee and biscuit cake, both excellent. Keep doing what your doing…More

We stopped off here for coffee while passing through Durrow but the menu was so tempting we ate a complete meal and weren’t sorry we did. I had the lamb tajine which was delicious. The lamb was very tender. They have a good outdoor area...and staff were very helpful. Will definitely come again.More

Visited Bowes in Durrow for late breakfast early lunch today. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito. Oh my lord, it was fantastic, and healthy as always. My wife will be jealous!

What a wonderful surprise. We were looking for somewhere for lunch while travelling from Waterford to Galway. We decided to stop in Durrow and try Bowe’s . We had an idea that the food might be good judging by the excellent menu and the amount...of customers coming through the door. We received great, friendly service, 4 superb meals and left with some delicious desserts for the road. We really enjoyed Bowe’s cafe and would highly recommended to anyone in the area. 10/10More

Stopped for lunch. I had the salad and it was the best salad I ever had. It was very substantial, full of flavour and really nice dressing. There was an option to have meat or salmon with it but I didn't and it was very...filling. Very high quality food. Well done. Lots of young girls working who were very friendly and well trained.More
