We stopped by Coban for a night on our journey to Semuc. We thought we would treat ourselves to a fancy meal- and treat ourselves we did! For around £13 each we had the most divine fillet steak, incredible blue cheese sauce, sauted potatoes and...More

My friends and I went back to Coban after a long day of bumpy rides to the legendary Semuc Champey, just to find out that our hotel restaurant was closed. Our hotel staff recommended us to have dinner at La Abadia. We didn’t have any...More

We dined at La Abadia twice and would have returned had we stayed longer in Coban. Not only is it a small and intimate restaurant but the menu is excellent, food superb. Great wines, also. We both had tenderloin the first night with two different...More

Best restaurant in town. Not so many meals in the menu, but quality and taste are guaranteed. A very kind staff, very helpful. You can tell ingredients are natural/organic, and mixtures of curry and spices will be part of the options. A place to enjoy.
