I came here on business for dinner with our Guatemalan supplier. The meat was delicious and drinks were excellent. The low lighting and pond inside make it feel comforting and relaxing. We met the owner and had an interesting conversation with him. Wonderful place to go for a nice evening meal in Coban!

A hidden gem. Owner raised, aged beef. A real treat in Guatemala! Dine in comfort surrounded by beautiful orchids. Meals cooked to perfection. Staff quick and attentive without hovering. Fresh local greens for the salads. Wonderful deserts. Don't miss the macadamia nut pie. Enjoyed dinner so much we returned for Sunday brunch.

This review is of the restaurant since we didn't stay at the hotel. The restaurant is a must go in Coban. The food and service are excellent. We had the "lechugua a la parilla" as appetizer. We had never had a grilled lettuce salad, which sounds strange but was delicious. The flavors melded nicely. As entrée, I had the pork... More

We were very lucky to find Casa d'Acuña while visiting Coban for a three day business stay. The place is worth a visit. We had dinner on our first night in Coban and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the menu. My wife ordered a Marguerite Pizza and myself a Honey Glazed Salmon, both were excellent choices. Our waiter,... More

This is definitely worth a trip if in the Coban area of Guatemala. The food is a little pricey (for Guatemalan standards), but well worth the price. The atmosphere is very nice...think Italy meets Guatemala, and the service is very, very good!

I had visited Casa D'Acuña as it was recommended by a colleague last year. Both times I've been there have been very satisfying, first with a calzone and recently with one of the best spaghetti Alfredos I've had in a long time. The staff are remarkably friendly and diligent and will make you feel perfectly taken care of. On another... More

I have eaten here several times over the last few years and the food is pretty good and it is a nice atmosphere with pretty good service. Compared to other places in town, I find it a little expensive but they make some really nice desserts and it is a very unique setting with orchids and a small interior pond.... More

Outdated tourism books show this place as a restaurant and hostel, it's now only a restaurant and it's not so much for the budget back packer. Going off of the hostel reccomendation we showed up expecting a cheap meal but found that we could only really afford some fries and chips and guacamole to share. That being said, it's set... More
