Although we were the only people in the resturant we were not disappointed... Great food, I took the advice of all of the reviews and had the schnitzel which was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chili which had finished so he had the chicken. We played scrabble and relaxed as the staff were extremly chilled out.... not pushing but being... More

Took the family here for our last night in Laos. Really nice hosts, tasty set Lao menu is available, and the kids had plenty of board games on offer. KILLER home-made fries/chips are best in all of Laos & Gluten free!

We spent a couple of nights at Peeping Som's and were never disappointed. The food is among the best we had in Laos and a welcome change in our fried-rice-menu. What makes this place special is not only the great pasta or bruschetta but also the owner who always have a chat and a smile and actually remember you by... More

Well I have to say, finding good food in Vang Vieng isnt an easy task. You can pretty much get the same meal no matter what restaurant you go to. If your tired of the same lao sandwiches, so so hamburgers and mediocre stir frys give this place a try you will not be dissapointed! We went here 5 days... More

Dont be deceived by the recent TA review about this restaurant. The owners have not changed and the food is still DELICIOUS. We spent a week in Vang Vieng and we ate here 6/7 days. We tried the street food, the restaurant Arena and many others, but none could compare. The pork snichtzel, bruscetta, chicken Kiev and Laos pesto with... More

If you have other dinner plans change them and step in this place. Play a game and eat some awesome western food or local with a different menu as the other places in town. Cheap and really good value.

Based on the excellent reviews given on trip advisor this restaurant seemed like the place to go in Vang Vieng. Peeping Som's did not exceed nor meet the expectations that we had in mind. It's the most expensive place we have come across in the city and the food was a huge let down considering the price. Either the place... More

Three of us ate here, two had the chicken Kiev, one had the schnitzel. The food was awesome, the chicken was succulent and the schnitzel was lemony. The food tasted like something home made, after several months of travel it was really comforting. I can see why it's number one!

Just slightly off the beaten track which is a shame as the owners are very friendly. Food wasn't the best but reasonable, the dish we wanted was 'off the street', would have preferred the chef's cooking from Peeping Som's, as my stomach was a little 'off' for days.. It just needs a little encouragement, to be full, for the atomosphere... More

My mates and I ended up eating at this place 3 times on our stay in vang vien. Food is great quality and nice and cheap. Only issue was that we had a little trouble finding it first time around.
