Korean BBQ is a favourite of mine so it was great to see this in Vang Vieng. The town is mostly backpacker restaurants with pretty poor Asian and European food. Peeping Soms is at the end of the main street and full of Korean people enjoying the food which is a great sign. The meat selection is good and the... More

So delicious and great. Highly recommend this yummy restaurant. Be prepared to bring your patience with you as it does take a while to be served then you need to cook your food - but it is soooo worth it. The broth at the end of the bbq is so freakin good along with the dipping sauce they bring out.

I first visited five years when Peeping Som's was new and the menu leaned heavily toward western and fusion fare. At that time Vang Vieng was primarily full of western backpackers. Now the scene has become very Korean. Som was smart to move his restaurant in that direction. He still serves some western dishes, but your best bet is to... More

Excellent food with good price. The chili past is yummy. But the service are quite slow. If you love Korean BBQ, you would love it.

I went in here in the evening and waited about 15 mins before anyone acknowledged me. I ordered bbq pork which was average. While I was eating, the staff started shouting and arguing with each other when the restaurant was busy. I left wondering if that happens every night. Won't be going back to find out.

This restaurant tries to be a jack of all trades to attract the widest audience. This restaurant should play ONLY to its strengths - Korean BBQ. The Pizza I ordered was greasy and tasteless. The Chicken Noodle Soup was flavourless. Don't go here for anything else BUT Korean BBQ. Service was good. Menu should be reconsidered.

If you love Korean BBQ you'll love Peeping Som's. One of my go-to places with a group of friends. If you want a loooot of food for a decent price this is it! It's also super fun cooking your own food. Located on the main street before Chillao. Staff is very nice and speak good English.

Having read the reviews on trip advisor my friend and I decided to try our first Korean BBQ. It was a great experience with lots of excellent fresh food. The staff were friendly and helpful, but did not speak much English so were a little wary to approach us. Having said this everything we wanted arrived and we had a... More

My wife and I were craving Korean BBQ and walked down the street until we found a restaurant with a lot of Koreans in it :) As for Korean food, this place had two kinds on the menu: BBQ and Shabu Shabu. We ordered the traditional pork BBQ (samgyeopsal), but it ended up being a fusion of BBQ and Shabu... More

I am absolutely in love with this restaurant. A fun way to cook your food, if you order the Lao or Korean BBQ. A very social way to eat dinner! The staff are also very helpful, and the location couldn't be more perfect. I give this place my best recommendations!
