Delicious french food, fresh and always generous. Lovely hosts who will welcome you.
Go have a seat above a river, beside a typical small bridge made in Laos.
If you are hungry, don't hesitate, it's the place to be. The beef stew was really awesome...!More
As a resident i definitely recommend this authentic French restaurant. First, for the food. Mr Dom the owner-cook knows his job by heart and is very picky on the selection and quality of what will be served to guests. A large range of original recipes...from france are offered without any mistakes...meat of quality, hand made spaetzles, selected cheeses and cold cuts. Second, for the welcoming attitude of both the cook and his partner Miss Nini, always smiling and dedicated to guests' satisfaction. They will even help you to organise your activities during your stay in vangvieng. well, one of the must visit places in Vangvieng! go go go!More
We walked into this place after a long walk one night because I had been past it a couple of times and had looked at their chalkboard menus. When we walked in the owners were sitting and drinking wine with friends, they thought we might...have come to the wrong place. They asked if French food was fine because it was all they served. We were looking for a break from our Asian meals so we were excited to try this place. The owners are from France and I would describe the meal we had as French countryside. We ordered a meal for two which had charcuterie, baguettes, french cheeses, roasted potatoes, and an amazing salad with homemade dressing. The whole thing was probably actually enough for 3-4 people but we ate until we hurt. Of course we had some wine with dinner. The owners were so nice as were some of their friends, checking on the silly Americans who stumbled into their restaurant. This was one of the best meals that we had in Laos and we would definitely go back here again, you should try it out!More
