The pricing i the restaurant is a little high for the range of food on the menu although in the main it is well prepared I was served food which had obviously been taken out of the freezer and not heated sufficiently.

We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was very, very busy. We waited a while to be seated which wasn't unreasonable given how busy it was. Service was chaotic - we got our starter after we had finished our main course which is just not acceptable, and the staff didn't seem to think this was an issue.... More

7 bucks for a great breakfast and 15 for a great pasta dinner. Service was fantastic and the window seats looking out on nature were top notch.

Had dinner with 3 friends . Mike our waiter gave good and fast service . Was very friendly . His helper was also good . They honored our 7pm reservation on a Sunday night . The Pot roast was outstanding ! Very tender and like home made . The Filet medium rare was perfect and so delicious . And the... More

There are not many places to eat round here, especially in May, so this was a chance discovery as we drove past. A colonial style hotel, opened originally in 1879, the dining room still has all its original style nicely done! We were on,y there for lunch, so had the soup & sandwich combo for $18.95 - delicious. Plenty of... More

We stayed at Big Trees Lodge during our weekend in Yosemite and therefore ate dinner in the dining room both nights we were there. It's the only food option in the area, but it was just what we needed. Just as with the rest of the hotel, the dining room has beautiful, historic architecture and a pleasant ambiance. The servers... The atmosphere and service was lovely for our drink in this olde world hotel. Enjoyed the live piano playing too. Dinner menu looked interesting although we didn't dine.

Great service, great food, did not feel rushed, good wine selection. We had a table in the corner with windows all around us, and we only reserved it 1 hour ahead. Just very impressive all the way around.

This was a very nice choice for a couple of dinners while visiting Yosemite. While the menu is somewhat limited, the food was good and the portions adequate (but not adequate to share). The service was friendly and efficient. The ambience is nice-casual, and a welcome change from other fast-casual dining in the area.

We had just come over the mountain - it was raining like crazy - we were delighted that we stopped for lunch. A lovely park location. The light fixtures in the main building are worth a stop themselves.
