we just wanted to have a good meal before we had out of the yellowstone after cooking and eating campfood for days. we were on our long road trip so we knew we wouldn't get a chance to eat hot food in awhile so stoped by here and got a burger and a steak. some vegetables were terribly overcooked that... Have been in Summer when it is just too crowded and the wait time is long - this time Winter was the choice. Obviously the queues were non existent and the service was much better as they had plenty of time. Lunch consisted of a rather bland hot dog which was served with chips. My son-in-law had the chicken tenders... More

Its pretty hard to set a good standard in a place that caters for quite large crowds at times and is out in the boondocks but Terrace Grill does a fine job. The Fish Sandwich was great!

Terrace Grill is really more of a snack-bar with pre-made sandwiches, soup, burgers & hot dogs. The soup was thick and gloopy -- made from a mix. Burgers had been pre-grilled and just "nuked" to warm. Sandwich was full of turkey -- probably the best thing we ate there. No, the best thing we ate was food we brought with... More

The food was not bad and was not to overpriced. The lines were a little bit long, but they moved rather quickly. My husband had the hamburger and fries and I had a bowl of the chili. All was very decent food. It is worth a try if you are hungry.

Think cafeteria and food service company menu items served in an open and airy setting. Staff at the order counter were friendly and helpful. By noon the line grew to a long wait no matter how hard the staff tried to keep up with the orders.

During the summer season, this place can be overwhelmingly crowded, as the whole world tries to get fed in Yellowstone. This winter, though, with the hotel closed for remodeling, you can wander in and get a meal with no problems. The dining space itself is pretty nice in winter, with an airy feel and lots of windows with a view.... More

Terrace Grill inside Yellowstone National Park offers healthy and delicious food options. The service is fast too. I really loved the Vanilla Ice Cream and Butter Pecan! It was a good way to cap our long day in the park. Dining in a clean and wonderful restaurant with large windows that allows you to view beauty of the park and... More

Everything we ordered was cold. Everything we ordered went back. The elderly man behind the counter was surly and had a bad attitude when I told him the food was cold. "lady says the food's cold'' " lady wants hot food". The second batch of food was little better but by this time we saw no point in taking the... More
