Anchuca is listed three times, one as a place to visit, another as a B&B, and the third as a restaurant. Keep this in mind when reading reviews because there is a lot of overlap. Went to the restaurant with a group but stayed elsewhere....More

We had dinner here two nights in a row. It was that good. Call ahead to ask whether their lamb filets are on the menu; if not, ask if they can get some for you and make a reservation. This restaurant is NOT to be...More

I had initially made a reservation to be sat by the window. When I arrived I was apparently sat in the library. There was two other tables for two. I found out later they had a party of 21 in the actual area where you...More

Took the overpriced tour, which should have clued me about lunch. Gave it a try since we were already there. Seated and promptly ignored for 5 minutes, although we were the only ones in the place, Gave 1 menu for the 2 of us--I don't...More

Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Asparagus bisque was absolutely delicious. The meatloaf was moist and hearty. This is a true taste of southern hospitality and comfort nestled in a historic mansion in a culture rich community. Save room for the bread pudding and plantation...More

We arrived in Vicksburg and looked for a "better than average" place to eat. We are very glad we choose the Anchuca Mansion. They call it a "Café", but it was an intimate space with table cloths and cloth napkins. It may seem that they...More
