I've always enjoyed your food at the King St. location and was happy to learn you are now on UH campus. As a faculty member, I've purchased 5-6 meals on campus to date. However, it appears you don't keep the entrees warm. In each purchase, the food was good, but always cold. When I got your fish plate last week,... More

This place is great for lunch or dinner. We had the chicken with brown rice and broccoli, recommended by the servers. I am glad they have more parking not too far from the restaurant.

We come here to have halal food which is always good. This can be a fun place when they have bands playing. I recommend this place to eat.

This is the place, "Da Spot." Simple, great food, healthy, large portions, Egyptian, Moroccan, Indian, etc. Greek, Thai foods, and more. Large selections. Smoothies, salads, baklava. Very simple restaurant, lot's of tables. Very casual. Will recommend to all of our friends for satisfying, inexpensive meals.

Wifee and I often eat here ever since we discovered their free parking down around the corner on Hausten St. It's so convenient. It was always hard to find metered parking on the street so we rarely went. They have a wide variety of mediterranean type food. We don't mind paying extra for the lamb dish as lamb dishes are... Every year we come to Hawaii to visit we have to eat here! The food is fabulous, always fresh and a great variety of flavors. They also have a great menu of smoothies. Come to find out on Thursday evenings they have live music set up --jazz and Pop!

In what looks like an old garage. Cafeteria with exotic menu. Walk past the food first to plan your meal. Line up, the servers are both beautiful and pleasant. You get two giant scoops of rice, the main and salad all on one plate. Sit down and enjoy. Sometimes the food is a crapshoot. Last night we had a huge... More

We live in Kailua and most Thursdays we pick up dinner at the Farmers Market. After I tried Da Spot, it was hard to try any other vendor. I've had all their chicken dishes and their lamb dishes. Their sauces are savory and the meat is always tender and falling off the bone. Favorites are Moroccan chicken, Egyptian chicken, Chicken... More

$6/ mini plate for most entrees - 2 scoops rice (brown or saffron), entree and green toss salad. Served buffet style. They also have smoothies and sandwiches. Free parking is offered on a side street. Can be warm inside, but they have fans. Have live music on weekends.
