My first visit to Hawaii and I knew I needed to try a poke bowl. Nico's did not disappoint.... absolutely melt in your mouth fresh fish and the portion was very large for the price. As a novice "raw fish eater" I was pleasantly surprised and it was big enough for a table share. We also enjoyed the ahi bone... More

You can't go wrong with the special of the day. Macaroni salad is delicious and ahi grilled perfectly. Awesome lunch spot. Nice service and lots of fun..

Nico's was nice but overall I was disappointed with the menu selection. Being feet from the ocean I guess I was expecting a greater selection of fish then what there was. The food I went with good, but nothing to write home about. This was our last stop after a week on Oahu and we got spoiled with great service,... More

Met our friends who were visiting from Oregon for dinner. The fish and chips with mahimahi was excellent as were all the other fish dishes. The waitstaff was very patient as my son was delayed in Friday afternoon traffic. Our friends commented on the very reasonable prices for the high quality fish.

Nicos is down at the Port, which always seems appropriate for a seafood restaurant (see Nicos Neighbors photo). You can sit either indoors or out; both have lots of ambience and make a pleasant setting for your meal (see Nicos Interior and Nicos Exterior photos). Given the French origins of the owner, I ordered the Poisson Cru and the Bouillabaisse.... More

Nico's is on my list every time we come to Hawaii. The premise is that the very freshest fish comes right from the docks and is made for you at NIco's We went for dinner on our way to the airport and had the fresh catch of the day, which was MahiMahi. It was quite delicious, with a butter sauce... More

I am from Louisiana, so I am pretty familiar with fish. Nico's has a huge selection of fish and I had not heard of half of them. There were cops and firefighters who were eating there, so you know it is good If you go--arrive early. Place gets packed at lunch and when they sell out of a certain fish--it's... More

My Family had Dinner here the first day that we arrived for our vacation. The food was very good, however a little pricey. Not bad though. Fresh fish selections as they get their seafood from the fish market across the street every morning when the boats come in. The restaurant was featured on the Food Channel, so it definitely has... This is a busy restaurant on the pier that upgraded several years ago from a takeout lunch place to a sit down restaurant. Although the fish especially the ahi tuna poke was very fresh, the sauces were not very interesting and main entrees uninspired. The service was good and drink list including wines average.

We walked in and the place was packed. When we saw that you had to order from one of the stations then find a place to sit, we almost left, but we thought the food must be amazing here so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the "Daily plate of the Day" and my wife ordered chicken.... More
