I loved the hospitality and it's a family business. It's simple and present beautiful and delicious food. I loved the Hawaii tuna fish, it's fresh and clean. If you want a Hawaii food come here you will love it.

We loved our introduction to Hawaiian food, and eating with this family for lunch. Later my wife said this casual meal was her favorite of our vacation, and have to agree. Ask for, and follow their recommendations to try new things. You'll order several choices and share. Very casual (you're on vacation), no alcohol, but fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

Kapahulu Ave has so many great, local-owned casual eateries and Haili's is the best! My partner is Dominican and pasteles are a part of their cuisine and it was a find to see Pastele stew on their menu! The Pastele stew took a while to make but it was worth it, it is packed with so much flavor and love.... More

Haili's is a little mom and pop place somewhat off the beaten path of Waikiki. It is a cozy, informal, independent, corner restaurant owned and operated by some very nice local folks. The significant menu is posted along with pictures to help identify the indigenous specialties that they offer. I had the Kalua pig sandwich, consisting of Hawaiian pulled pork,... More

This is my very first Trip Advisor Review. I felt it necessary after seeing that no one had reviewed this restaurant. I'll be honest I was actually looking for Ono's Hawaiia Foods when I ended up at Haili's. My GPS led me right to it, and rather than keep trying to find Ono's, I just decided to go with it.... More
