I just spent 7 weeks in Waikiki and always went looking for a good steak. For some reason my map program never brought this one up till my last night. ;( But I tell you what, I saved the best for last. The steak was...to die for, so tender and flavorful. and what was really nice, it was not that expensive. I ate a a couple others that cost more and at the time thought were the best, but not anymore. My next trip, I know where to get a great steak! The top of the ALa Moana Hotel. Oh, and the view is fantastic!More

Had the most incredible experience with my family tonight. We ordered ahi poke, sashimi, calamari, shrimp cocktail, lobster Mac & cheese, prime ribeyes, apple pie, and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was exceptional and delicious. From the drinks to the food and the views. Huge thank...you to Noah for his service! Happy hour really is every night including weekends and they do have a pianist at night even during these Covid times. We were so impressed! Worth every penny!More

Went here with my husband and two pre teens. The food was great as was the service. My picky eater even found something that he enjoyed. This was the second time visiting the restaurant, first time was a date night with my husband. The process...may seem high, but the quality of food and service is worth every penny.More

Fabulous view, great menu with extensive choices. It would be nothing without the staff, though, because Noa made it a very special evening with his friendly and genuine attitude and server skills. We never had to look for him; whenever we were ready for another...glass of wine, or more food, he appeared. He was covering bar and restaurant area on a very busy night and handled himself as the pro he is. Smiling, relaxed, multi-tasking with ease. The food and presentation were excellent but honestly, I will make sure I sit where Noa will be my server to insure a top-notch experience. Mahalos!More

As guests of the Ala Moana Hotel we decided to try out the restaurant on the 36th floor to enjoy some happy hour bar food on my birthday! The food far exceeded my expectations and the presentation was outstanding! The service was exceptional thanks to...our server Galen! He made the experience top notch! He even brought me a complimentary creme brûlée for dessert with a candle! Best service we have received yet! Thanks Galen! The steak on a stone and lobster Mac and cheese were to die for! If I only knew it was this good I would have eaten here every night of my stay! The best part is the bill was around $50 before tip! Happy hour is the time to go!More

The signature Prime Steak lived up to a our expectations and more. The views from the 36th floor over the marina and back to Diamond Head spectacular. The 12oz Fillet cooked to perfection, the seared scollops very big and very delicate. grat eating.

We went for happy hour. We got in line at 4:15 for happy hour to open at 4:30. We were not the first by a long shot. We lucked out and got a table by the window. Spectacular view. They have 2 lovely steaks on...the happy hour menu. Very large, we split them. The truffle mash is amazing and the seafood platter, while expensive is awesome. Wine by the glass is a great pour for $13/glass. For a red, I recommend the “quilt” Cabernet. It is yummy and what a bargain. I was so pleased by the wine and food. We lingered for 2 hours over wine and dinner.More

Food and view were fantastic. Happy hour which is for food and drinks is a must as this nearly halves your cost on most items. NY steak was delicious and the martini are strong and beers are large. Local dish of loco moco was done...with lobster mash mmmmmmMore
