This was one of the stops of the food tour with Aloha Plate. We had the manapua and a type of dumpling/dimsum that I forgot the name of. The manapua was so delicious!!! Soft fluffy bread stuffed with char sui flavored pork. So good!!! Best pork bun I have ever had! The dumpling was pretty good too, and it went... More

I never go to Oahu without a stop for the best stuffed buns (manapua)...And now that I've been there at different times of the day, I know why the bus load of tourists stop here at store opening... it's when the buns come out of the oven and melt in your mouth. A 6am bun is better tasting than an... More

Convenient location (on the way to airport, Nimitz hwy, take smith st exist). Made a quick stop here to bring back baked manapuas (char siu and lueop Chong) for family on the neighbor islands. They have other options too, but as far as I know this is the location for the baked manapuas. Parking free with validation. Be sure to... More

Friendly staff with a good selection of manapuas. We came in just before closing and got a couple of chicken and cha siu manapuas and a coconut one. Too bad we were too late as they had run out of some of the others. They take credit cards. There is a set of outdoor tables by the river street side... More

Really good Manapau. We were told the locals all believe the manapau here are the best on the island. The traditional is the charsiu pork but they also offer sweet options. Every flavour we tried was great!

I have had the managua at Royal Kitchen for over 30 years. It is amazing that I still like it very much. Of course, the char siu baked managua is the best. However, the purple sweet potato baked managua is a very close second. I have analyzed all of the flavors. I think the purple sweet potato baked managua is... More

We sample 3 different Manapua after taking a number and waiting several minutes on a Thursday morning. It was worth the wait. Sweet and savoury charsiu pork and chicken curry and purple sweet potato were the flavors that we tried. All excellent!! Highly recommended.

This place was on our food tour. We never would have stopped here on our own. So, I wanted to alert all my Trip Advisor friends not to miss this unique and so yummy food experience! Little puffed pockets of portable and hearty goodness.
