Food was good but not excellent. Restaurant was worn and dated. Felt like a local place. Would probably not go again.

I had the calamari and duck buns, yum. My friends had the crab dip sandwich and pork special sandwich. My friends enjoyed their cocktails. I had a glass of Pinot. They need to improve their wine selections. Service was good. We did easy valet parking.
My last visit a year ago, found one of my previous favorite place to go, somewhat lacking (service and food was not as great as it should be), This trip, service was much better, from hostess to the waitress. Had my favorite duck bun as the appetizer, still very good, but my choice for the main dish and dessert was... More
not as consistent and innovative as they were when they first opened; good place for friends to meet ; parking can be a challenge; food and menu like a chain restaurant
My wife and I took my friend and his wife to lunch, who were visiting from San Francisco. My wife had the crab and artichoke spread on roasted bread while I had the Kobe hamburger Ryan's Classic sandwich which came with French fries. My wife said that hers tasted how she last remembered eating it from past visits. My hamburger... More
This place has been around for awhile and a Groupon provided motivation for 3 of us to visit. I had a burger and friends ordered the local moco. Good service, free parking and the food was great!
I love going to this bar,we found it in the Ward Centre while shopping a couple of years ago.. Happy hour starts around 4.00 PM and goes through to 7.00PM. Being just on the northern edge of the CBD this is where the locals go to relax after work. The Cocktails are first class with no holding back. Not like... More
We were a party of three for dinner at around 6 PM on a Wednesday evening during the holiday period. From ordering to food on the table was well over 60 minutes. The manager comp'd the meal and we are very appreciative of the fact that he recognized that this level of service is totally unacceptable. I had the salmon... More
Ryan's Grill gave our family a great dinner and a nice experience. The restaurant servers a wide variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta and pizza. Our dishes were delicious and well-prepared, our service was excellent. The restaurant is well-suited for families, the decor is a little spartan but the menu prices are about 50% below other restaurants we've tried. It's... More
I see advertisements from Ryan’s that reservations are still available for New Year’s Eve. Ryans is one of those restaurants that my family and I have never had a good dining experience. One year, it was Thanksgiving and our dinner orders for a party of 8 were long in coming, and our server profusely apologizing for the delay, with the... More
