Fantastic restaurant: Intimate interior; friendly and efficient service; the tasting menu was extraordinary - quality of the ingredients, sushi rice, cuts, marinades and sauces - it was a real delight to let the chefs surprise you with their creations (sometimes more traditional, sometimes a little...More

A fantastic Japanese meal. Fixed 6 course menu changes monthly. Very creative flavors, excellent presentation. The dishes were beautiful creations. All together an excellent dining experience.

We have been to this restaurant for special occasions over the years. The service is still good, atmosphere a nice vibe and the presentation of the food can't be beat. For some reason, the flavors didn't seem as delicious and complex as in the past.

$59 dollars set meal of 5 courses. Portions not huge but if you want a visual experience and anticipation of what each dish is then it’s the place for you. Combinations of ingredients very interesting - like the snapper kale salmon broth dish. Not a...More

Meal was very flavorful and nicely presented on decorative plates, bowls, etc. I give it only 3 stars because every dish was more like a teaser taster. Very minimal portions. For example, a butterfish piece would take me ONE bite if it was a normal...More

We were lucky enough to be seated directly in front of the chef at the long bar that surrounds the central kitchen area. Nanzan Giro Giro, being a kaiseki restaurant doesn’t have an ala carte menu, you’re at the whim of the chef. However, this...More

This place is the best! The staff is amazing and very personable. You are seated at the counter that surrounds the kitchen. The menu is set so everyone eats the same thing. Wine is paired with each dish that is brought out (if you chose...More

$58 kaiseki is the predetermined banquet of 6 small meals. They look tiny but if you eat all of them, you'll be full by the end. They were all amazing. This does not include dessert. Service is great. The waiters will go through each dish...More

I think the menu changes monthly. The service style is known as kaiseki and is a "set" menu of about 6 courses with an optional dessert course. I don't think they post the menu, but you can call them for what's being served... More
