I know - Poi! You either hate it or love it! I don't like it and my boyfriend asked me to get him one. I gave him a hard time but I ended up loving it and got a dozen to bring home. Don't forget to get a number at the bakery to get service.

This bakery is known for their cream puffs, however, these were not as outstanding as they were made out to be - and honestly, would not go back for these. HOWEVER, they have numerous other items that are worth the drive. One is the guava roll. It is basically a guava jelly cake filled with guava preserves and a guava... More

This place is known for their coco puffs. It's basically a cream puff with a chocolate filling and a frosting that is somewhat similar to butterscotch. It's good, but not any more amazing than other cream puffs I've had. It's also got a cafe that you can order breakfast and lunch from. (Not sure about dinner). We went there on... More

We ate breakfast on the way to Pearl Harbor. It is about half way between Waikii and Pearl Harbor. Greeted by a friendly waitress, coffee right away and quick delivery of the food. I had the pancakes.. wife had eggs all excellent. Picked up cookies on the way out...

Oh yummy. A must have from this famous bakery. Puffs filled with different flavoured custards and topped with Chantilly cream a salted caramel icing. So good. Bakery was packed when we went there as they are about to refurbish.

A tradition for us every time we come to Honolulu (several times a year). Nothing fancy but excellent quality. Come early for breakfast or late for lunch. Can be very crowded. Great bakery, too!

The pastries at Liliha Bakery are amazing! However, there are only a few bar stools upon which patrons can sit to enjoy the goodies. We ended up sitting in our car to eat! It is a very popular place and additional seating would really be appreciated, even if it was outside.

Liliha is a must for us every time we're on Oahu. Great spot for lunch - they serve amazing local dishes (loco moco, saimin etc.) and their cream puffs are to die for! You know the place is good when you see locals eating there. Must do if you're here for a short visit!

We wanted to have a light snack so opted for Liliha Bakery. We were surprised, they had so many baked goods to chose from and hot meals too! We ordered green tea pancakes, fried chicken which was juicy and tasty than most well known chicken, butter rolls, bread pudding, green tea puffs... We were so impressed! The taste was excellent!!... I thought it was fine, but not real sure what all the fuss was about. We ordered several different pastries along with the signature Coco Puffs and ate them while we drove to the north shore after our climb up Diamond Head.

Thank Doug B
