My friend and I were heading someone else, but popped into Benjamins for some oysters and lobster potato skins. The food was very good, the atmosphere dark, barlike, and the service was fine.

I had the best lobster grilled cheese you could imagine, loaded with chunks of lobster and melty cheese. My husband had the French dip which was large and had the most tender roast beef ever. Would definitely go again.

Love the noon-2 Happy hour oysters. Food is always good. Downstairs is so small you make friends without planning to! Our favorite go-to in Newport.

This place was recommended by a local. Upstairs and downstairs dining. Very loud and busy. Service is a little slow. But very touristy. First bowl of clam chowder and it was very good.
