The restaurant is long and narrow, and each room or area has a unique decor and feeling. The menu also is varied and interesting. The three of us each had something different, and we all enjoyed everything, including desserts. We'll definitely go back.

We were taken here by a Newport resident who highly recommended the Teriyaki Salmon which we both had. He ordered the Bistro Filet. I must confess I am usually not a huge fan of vegetables, but that crispy spinach was pretty tasty! Who knew? Maybe...More

Thanks for giving us a try and thanks to your friends with good taste! ( if we do say so ourselves). We do hand-make everything from scratch, I wonder if that makes us too precious with portions? We'll have a chat at next week's management...More

We split the seafood chowder and beet salad. Both were excellent. This was the second night we were in Newport. For some reason, the place was packed to the gunwales the first night, so we went elsewhere.

Impressed by the staff and the location in Newport. Virtually had the place to our selves. Food was excellent as was the service. Our wedding party had about 30 people and the staff took great care of us and was very efficient. Can't talk about...More

I was very disappointed in my pad Thai entree. The ingredients were over cooked and tasteless. Even though there was a festival underway on broadway the restaurant was empty. Time to rethink menu, decor and service.

As it says, it's a cafe. nothing flash about it. Food ok, massive portions on certain items. Service ok. One thing is they don't check on the quality of the food. My fish was over cooked. Everything is slightly salty and sweet!!!!! That's America for...More

I'm sorry that my staff did not provide a food check, I will talk to the floor manager about that and make sure that they are better trained for the future. I beg to differ with your disparagement of our entire country by saying that...More

We came here because the place where we planned to dine down the street couldn't seat us immediately. We were literally consulting TripAdvisor (aloud) when a youngish fellow on the street recommended this place. Still indebted to him. Had no trouble getting the window table...More

We came here for my cousins rehearsal dinner, which was hosted upstairs. The room upstairs was really nice, casual, yet very welcoming and the perfect space for a large gathering. The food was absolutely amazing, we had stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail for appetizers....More

Thanks carolpv83! We love to be part of special events like Rehearsal Dinners, Showers & Bachelorette Gatherings. We know how hard it is to book large groups in this town in a place that has any local color so it's really satisfying to hear that...More
