Eaten here every time I'm in New Port. Never had a bad meal; apps are good, seafood excellent, and desserts most tasty. Wait time can be a challenge as well as seating large groups, but these are minor inconveniences.

Ok clam chowder, but I'd go elsewhere - too thin and not meaty enough. Ok lobster salad on a croissant- not really a lobster roll, and had a shell inside. Ok turkey sandwich with some cranberry concoction that was good. I would give it another shot, but not after trying other places first.

Well known for its clam chowder and justifiably so. There is a tavern section and a more formal dining room. Primarily a fish restaurant but meat and fowl are also available. The lobster salad sandwich is a little pricey but an excellent choice. In the harbor area and s nice place to walk around after dining.

This place isn't as big as I was expecting donut fills up quickly. The clam chowder is amazing, one of the best I've had anywhere. Service was great and the food is very good. A bit more expensive than some other options in the area but very good.

The dinner was superb! I had the monkfish and my better half had the halibut both off the specials menu. The fish were perfect prepared and the sauces with each we're excellent. The deserts were equally excellent and this is a place I will be coming back. Just try to get there early as the amount of people that want... More

Great clam chowder, the best. You must also have a Bloody Mary to accompany it. Service and people are very good. Grab a group of friends and go enjoy Newport and lunch at the Black Pearl. You will return.

One of the best places in Newport. Great seafood and drinks! Tourist prices as is most of this town, but worth it.

We were in Newport for a few days between Christmas and New Year, and we popped into the Black Pearl for a drink on a number of occasions. We liked the friendly staff in there and so on our last night before moving on decided to have dinner there. It was possibly the best restaurant we visited in the whole... More

Went here for restaurant week and ate lunch. It was absolutely amazing and did not disappoint. We would definitely go back as every single thing we ordered was amazing.
