Our granddaughter was singing at the Shea Theater in a performance of "The Nutcracker" with a 7:00 pm start. Too early for a before show meal, so we decided to have something light after the show. Two granddaughters, our daughter and son-in-law, my wife and myself headed here, which is right across the street from the Shea Theater. We were... More

My friend and I went to Bijou last evening before seeing a show at Sheas theater. We did have a 5:30 reservation. We were greeted immediately and had our drink quickly. Our waitress Michelle was awesome. My friend had the turkey soup which she said was delicious. We both decided on a pasta dish that we enjoyed very much along... More

It was Sunday night during the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, and the boarder getting across to Canada was packed. We just finishing up some shopping and didn't want to wait an hour to cross, so we decided to go into the city and have some dinner and wait it out. We chose the theater district in downtown Buffalo to find... More

Went for the first time before a play at 710 Main. Had the Chicken parmesian. Chicken cutlets coated with a light breading and I think Santiago cheese. Panned fried perfect. Served over spaghetti and a light amount of sauce. Delicious. There was a plate of Italian baguette bread and oil for dipping. Only wished there was a dinner salad included.... More

We eat and drink at the bar. This review is NOT for table service but it is for food, beverage, and bar service. The bartender with the bowtie makes out-of-this world craft cocktails. And not the hipster kind--real classic cocktails! Onto the food. Pasta with capers and eggplant: excellent. Soups: homemade. Salads: great deal for lunch, very large and fresh.... More

We arrived 75 minutes before our Shea's performance with no reservation. As expected, they did not have any available tables but said we could sit at the bar. My wife ordered crab cakes appetizer and I ordered a beer and quesadilla appetizer. The appetizers were very good and hit the spot. Service was great. We were in and out in... More

A really nice evening. The restaurant was very accommodating to our large group and Justin was an outstanding waiter. The food was very good and timely served. The eggplant capatina was not a dish that I had before but I would order it again. The serving size, for our entire party with various dishes, was big and prices were in... More

A few friends and I were seeing a show at Smith's theater next to Shea's and we wanted to grab some dinner beforehand. We made reservations (6pm before an 8pm show) at Bijou Grill because we thought it would be super busy on a Friday night, but there appeared to be tables available for walk-ins the entire time we dined.... Went to eat before a show at Shea's. Between the four of us at our table all the food was very very tasteless and bland. Everything looked great and sounded good on the menu but totally unsatisfying to the taste. Most bland risotto I've ever had also Jack Steak tasted plain. I don't think they even used salt and pepper... More

We had lunch at Bijou Grill before a theatre matinee. The place was jammed with theatre goers, but we had allowed enough time, and the restaurant (and our server) brought our lunch with time to spare. The food was good and the service was fine, given the large number of theatre goers that had to be fed within a short... More
