Stopped in for beef on weck and beef on multiseeded roll. Plus frozen yogurt and ice cream. Bright interior, friendly counter service. Caters to families with kids. Roast beef was excellent. Mango apricot yogurt good, sponge cake ice cream too sweet.

Ok, I'm predjudiced, no custard is as good as the custard in Rochester, NY at Read's or Abbott's but Anderson's comes in the top 3! I highly recommend it when in the Buffalo area. It is like tradition to go for custard at Anderson's!!!

Probably one of the most delightful sandwiches I have ever stood in line for. I would do it again. The only reason this restaurant does not get a 5 is because it is self serve. The rolls are chewy but tender and the meat is sliced paper thin and melts in your mouth. The horseradish tops off the flavor profile.

This place has amazing roast beef sandwiches but it's all about the frozen custard. The beef sandwich was great. Lots of beef. Get it on the "salted roll". And add horseradish. Do not leave without getting a frozen custard cone. While there are options, get the vanilla/chocolate twist. Perfection!

I had never had frozen custard and am now wanting it in the southern part of the state! it was smooth creaminess for sure! They do also have sandwich and burger options too, but the star here is the custard.

Love the curley fries here! They have a lot of sandwich options and soups as well. The beef on weck is very good but nothing compared to Charley the Butchers. Desserts are always amazing!

Standing in line at Anderson's provides opportunities to see friends and neighbors. Creamy soft serve, freezer treats to take home are expected, but good roast beef, turkey, fries, hot dogs and burgers are never a disappointment. Follow the locals and ask for Susie at Union Road- she's the best!

If you've never had frozen custard, hurry up and go to Anderson's! The smooth creaminess of their frozen custard will make your eye roll back in your head, it's so good! The location on Sheridan Drive have a 1950s vibe--you walk up to the window to order your delicacy. The also have other treats: ice cream, sandwiches, etc. but I... More

Description
Anderson's was started in 1946 by Carl & Greta Anderson, the son and daughter of Swedish immigrants. The first store was opened Anderson's Frozen Custard on White Plain Blvd, Bronx, NY. Homesick for Buffalo, Carl & Greta returned to open another custard stand on Kenmore Ave, in 1947. Hard work and quality soon earned them a great reputation and allowed them to replace their small custard stand with a larger one on Sheridan Drive in 1953. Years later the tradition was passed on to another generation of Anderson's who keep the same dedication to quality and value as Carl and Greta while finding tasty new way to excite guests! Stop by one of our 7 WNY locations and enjoy and all natural Roast Beef on Weck with aujus and of course horseradish if you prefer! For dessert you will have a hard time choosing from one of the signature sundaes like a Chocolate Peanut Butter Passion or a good old fashioned and homemade ice cream cone or a signature Frozen Custard in Vanilla, Chocolate or the special of the day! You can also Shake up your day with a frozen custard shake or cool it with a Fruit Smoothie. Anderson's is proud to serve the guests near and far who visit each day! We are pleased to have become a part of your tradition here in Western New York. From lunch, dinner, dessert to catering, we invite you to visit & ...Taste the Tradition!
