We went here at 3 on a Friday. The place was busy but they were not organized. At the outside bar the bar tender over looked us. Guess we weren't important enough. Inside we were told the wait was 15-20. After 30 minutes and seeing a near empty place but tables not clears. I was told oh we just have... More

I hate when waterfront places suck. What a waste of real estate. I guess they are closing though so maybe someone else will do better. The two stars are for the mussels, which were really good. The sauce was thick and stuck to the mussles. We both got the haddock (one lemon and one potato chip crusted). Neither had any... More

The operator has severed his ties with this site and will soon close forever (after his being booted out of Woodlawn Beach last year). It will be interesting to see if another restaurant takes over as good as Dug's. We ate these yesterday (after trying the day before without success...they are only serving dinner during the week these days). The... More

We stop here a dozen times throughout the summer and it's always a good time. You can eat inside or outside looking at the Lake. Food here has always been good, the views are great and the people are always friendly. Word is that the place may be changing hands, so get out and check it before it goes away... More

This was our first trip to Dug's Dive. We had heard good things about it and wanted to get there before it closed forever. It has a lovely view of the water but the restaurant itself is a little run down. Sandwiches served in paper containers without any sides most of them for more than $10. Our waitress was quick... I prayed on the way in to the restaurant that I wouldn't get salmonella. The restaurant is a typical dockside restaurant from the outside, and I thought the "dive" part of their name was likely a cute put-on, but it was not. The tables were sticky and dirty, and the food was no better. I ordered a "crabby patty" which... More

After a great day in the city of Buffalo exploring the HarbourCenter area and Outer Harbor, my wife looked for a place for dinner. Due to a concert downtown, most restaurants had a long wait. My wife and I decided to try Dug's since it was on the water. The view of the lake was awesome, as we ate outside.... More

What a disappointment. Giant cocktail comes out with about 6 mini ice cubes on a 80 degree day and placed in the sun. Fried Calamari Appetizer was slightly soggy but good. That was it! Chicken Bruschetta sandwich was cold, and the side of slaw $2.50 was warm and smelled and tasted old. Fried Clam strip platter loads the bottom of... More

This was our first trip this season to Dug's...we've been many times. Nothing much has changed except a bit of a price increase. We opted for outdoor seating (really the main reason to come here) and we were seated after a short 10 minute wait. We opted for the Monday drink special which is a Margarita for $5. It was... More
