We really love this place an have gone many times when in flagstaff... The service is excellent, and the teppanyaki chefs are really fun and funny, they interact with the table quite a bit. The prices are a little high compared to other more casual restaurants, but no more so than your average teppanyaki place. We have always just walked... More

This restaurant has great service and the best food in town. The atmosphere is fun and exciting for all ages. Chef Antonio was very personable and fun. My 4 1/2 year old even commented on how Antonio was a "great cook and made great food".

Ordered sushi and within an hour had stomach problems. Was throwing up and had diarrhea. Contacted the manager and was basically told we were lying. I contacted the ER and was advised that it sounded like we consumed rotten sushi. Sickness lasted 24 hours. They did refund do to the experience however, they weren't apologetic about the visit. Poor lack... More

Please accept our apologies. We take our service and food quality very seriously at Sakura Sushi & Teppanyaki. We are investigating the matter with the servers, hostess and chefs working that night. Above all else, as you mention, is the importance of empathy and understanding no matter what the situation or where the fault lies. We appreciate you bringing the... More

We took our daughter to Sakura for her 21st birthday. Our family had so much fun! Our chef was Antonio and he was very exciting to watch. It was fun watching all the new college kids in training to be wait staff. The service was great. The sushi rolls, however, were not great. There is a good selection of rolls, especially if you like tempura fried ingredients. However our fish seemed watery and bland. It was convenient to the hotel and we were tired.
