No trip from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon would be complete without a stop for a Black and White coffee to go! Also bought some North Rim beans to take home for my husband.

On the way to or from the Grand Canyon, the Snowbowl, or the Museum of Northern Arizona, stop for a locally owned 'cuppa joe' and home baked treat in this former gas station. Attentive servers, great coffee, and a soothing atmosphere invite you to spend time reading, surfing the net, or visiting with friends.

I've gotten to the point in life where I appreciate a cup of coffee that won't put hair on my teeth, and these guys dished up the perfect cup. There was a very friendly vibe when I walked in so I asked for a lighter brew, and even though most of theirs are dark, he recommended one that was perfect.... More

The best coffee I had in town. Be prepared for the new addiction or withdrawl. Thankfully they have one at the hospital too. A little expensive but I'd rather have theirs than starbucks.

We came here and enjoyed fresh Americanos on the outside deck. The day was perfect, the Americanos were hot, and we were so happy! It is a great coffee stop, and the employees are so very friendly. You can even buy the fresh roasted beans here! Get some!

The coffee is good but we used to enjoy the pastries (especially the sweet roles they served). For some reason the offereings of bakery items is different now and not as great as we remembered.

Great coffee drinks and casual atmosphere for hanging out. Location is in between town and the Snow Bowl, accessible by bike or car.

Great little coffee shop north of Flagstaff the you should stop and get some coffee and a snack on the way to the Grand Canyon. They roast their own coffee here and have some great blends. I stop here whenever I get he chance.

Visited 2 days in a row while staying nearby. Beside the coffee mocha, chocolate croissant is also delicious with rich ganache.

Love to stop here on our way to Snow Bowl. Best mocha I've ever had. Yummy cookies too. All the staff is good at special requests too.

Late For The Train first opened in 1993 with the downtown Flagstaff cafe and they started roasting their own coffee not too long after, in 1996. Now there are three locations in the Flagstaff community that are supported by their first rate coffee roastery. Over the years they have maintained a level of quality that set them apart from the beginning. In addition to locally roasted quality coffee they offer a unique blend of mochas and chais, such as the Spicy Chai Latte where they give India’s national beverage a taste of Arizona with a touch of spicy peppers. The Coconino Mocha is a rich treat--ultra smooth and made in-house with premium chocolate and their hand-crafted cold-brewed coffee.
