Virginia barbecue is underrated. If you like NC or e. TN BBQ you will like this. Properly cooked pulled pork in a very generous sandwich amount. Sides are ok. Slaw variable; beans above average. Not a restaurant; closes early. Not easy to spot from the road; it's a shack not a restaurant. Take out only although there are a few... More

My family and I were at the Luray Caverns and we decided we did not want to eat at their eatery, so I jumped on Yelp. Saw this pace and decided we would give it a shot. We drove there and as we passed we saw it was a "food truck" (we are not big fans as we like to... More

We stopped at Triple Crown BBQ before a visit to Luray Caverns. We tried the ribs, pulled pork and sausages. The ribs were very good, but could have a used a bit more time on the smoker to make more tender. The pulled prok was excellent. The sausages were also very good. The location does not look like much, but... More

Great roadside stand. Use tri-tip vs brisket. Sides are great, portion sides are good, and prices are good.

Would make a vegetarian reconsider their ways! Rib Heaven discovered. Served up with a hearty dose of southern hospitality by Luray natives who know how to whip up ahhhmazing BBQ! Loved it! Best stop and well worth the drive over from DC!

Really good BBQ. Meat tender and cooked perfect. No fat or grilse. Sandwich ($7) is a 1/2 lb. of meat served on a hearty bun with or with out slaw. The sauces are good but the hot didn't have much or a BBQ taste, just heat. A great meal after hiking the Shenandoah N. P. They have a couple of... More

Always looking for a road side bbq place...decided to take back ways back to Winchester from Shenandoah and saw this place. Pulled pork was delicious with just a hint of spicy and ribs were delicious too

My friends and I stumbled upon this place and it is easy to find. Just look for the large dinosaur on the side of the road. It is right next to the Luray zoo and rescue zoo. The food is served in a small trailer on the side of the road but do not let this fool you as the... More

We heard that this place was good and it was. My friend and I shared the Smoky Sampler with sides of coleslaw and beans. There was more than enough food for the 2 of us and the price was reasonable. It was worth the drive from Ontario, Canada.
