We dinned at Mastro's Steakhouse in Thousand Oaks on Thursday 11/17 and as always, delicious! We ate in the bar with great piano & jazz music. We shared the Mastro's Salad and the Bone-In Filet w/sides of creamed spinach and onion rings! Always a popular spot with lot's of fun & action. Oh the high side, but worth it! 😍💓

My husband and I would frequent this restaurant on a bi-weekly basis when it first opened in our Thousand Oaks area, so needless to say we were very familiar with menu. Over the past 2+ years the experience has been on a slow decline. The portions have been reduced significantly, the sides use to be enough for 4 people with... More

A group of us went to dinner tonight and we had a very good experience. We were in a private room, which added to the enjoyment of the meal. The main dining room was very noisy and crowded. The seafood tower was delicious as were the steak and side dishes. Our server, Erin, was very patient and very professional.

My wife and I were here with 2 other friends for dinner, our first time. It wound up that we all ordered the Filet Mignon. The other 3 orders were fine; mine was well done when I had ordered it medium. Since I was hungry, I munched on some of my wife's meals. Mine finally came out, but the sides... More

Ok, so it was our anniversary and a friend gave us $150 gift card for Maestros in Thousand Oaks on T.O Blvd. We started out with 2 whiskey sours. Ordered salads and mentioned it was our anniversary. Both ordered steaks with baked potatoes and fresh vegetables. Ordered two more whiskey sours, and we're surprised when the waiter brought us a... More

The atmosphere in the dining area is upscale and modern. I wouldn't call it intimate, but it's not loud either. The bar is very energetic and fun, with music and several televisions. You can enjoy the same menu in either location. The food was above average, though not world class. If you want an appetizer, spring for the seafood tower... More

There are only a handful of high end steak houses in the area, Mastro's, The Grill on the Alley, Holdren's, Larsens, ... and then you have to go into LA. The Grill on the Alley is the most pretentious and lowest quality of the choices. I personally like Holdern's for a regular night out, great quality steaks cooked to perfection,... More

So we have gone to the Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Malibu locations and always had a great meal ... when we arrived we were asked to wait while the front desk staff got organized ... however that mainly consisted of chatter about their days off and not actual work. Once we we were seated, our server spent inquired if we... More

Quite an upmarket eatery for the area. Even with reservations, we had to wait about 15 minutes before getting a table. They have a wide selection of steaks, ranging in size from petite filet to porterhouse. They also have sushi options like lobster rolls on the menu, as well as a variety of crab dishes like Dungeness crab. The filet... More

Have traveled all over the world and eaten in most of the top steak houses in the major cities. Mastro's rates on par with the best, for quality of food and service.
