After failing to eat at our first selection, the closed Palacio Cafe, we were left with the choice of driving down the streets looking for a likely restaurant using the time worn technique of full parking lot. We finally located this restaurant on Cerrillos Road, (old Route 66) where it seems every thing in Santa Fe is located on or... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Decided to see if it was still as good as on our first visit. Happy to say it was as good or better ! My wife and I shared steak fajitas, tacos, and wonderful guacamole. Everything was top notch. The service was fast and friendly, the food hot and tasty. All for... More

My daughter and I had dinner here. My daughter had a Margarita made with Agave Wine, not Tequila. It was smooth and delicious. She also had Pollo con Salsa Verde, and I had the chicken breast in Mango Sauce. This is a good place to get a taste of the region.

I got the mango shrimp dish, and it was delicious, if you are in the mood for something different and slightly sweet. The red chile sauce on the enchiladas was good, but too spicy for my 12 year-old (and we're from Texas, so she's not unaccustomed to spicy food), so I ended up eating that as well. My mother had... This has become my family's (we are "foodies from NYC) "go to" restaurant whenever we are in Santa Fe (2-3 times per year). Family owned. Friendly fast service. Authentic and delicious food. Inexpensive. Very broad menu. Try the ceviche, chile rellanos, shrimp or steak fajitas. Great guacamole !!

This has the best rice we have ever had! We also had the chicken soup that is a specialty of their chef and it to was amazing. Very friendly staff and nice family place to eat.

We had heard a lot about this local restaurant and were looking forward to a great Mexican feast. The restaurant turned out to be smaller than we expected and very busy. Tables are jammed into the small space and the atmosphere is basic, busy and noisy. The food was good but not special and we got the feeling of being... More

Our hotel suggested Los Potrillos. The service was good. We arrived a little after 4 so it wasn't busy. Our food was tasty. My husband loved his Chilies Rellenos The food was a good amount but amound not over done. When we arrived, they served us 3 dips with the chips. The dips were liquid. Not the salsa we usually... We love the seafood soup called Levantate Lazare in the winter, it probably could raise the dead! Need to try something else but haven't in a long while, it's that good!

This is one of those places that has a menu so large that it is hard to make a decision. Most everything looked interesting. I opted for the Chicken Mole'. While this was not one of the best Mole's that I have eaten it was still pretty good. I cleaned my plate with no regrets. The service was excellent. This... More
