Like photographing a beautiful panorama, it will be hard to describe just how good this dining experience was. Four of us did a good job of putting this place through its paces. First, our server (Hayden) was an absolute professional. Totally knew the wine and food menu inside and out. He offered to order our entire dinner, but we already... More

Made reservations.. and glad we did. We had read reviews about this restaurant and decided to try it on our last night in Santa Fe. My wife and I like to order different plates and then share them, so the small plates here just fit us perfectly. We had Tacos de la Boca, Kale/Spinach salad, Roasted Butternut Squash, and a... My husband and I had a reservation for 7:45p, and got seated at 8:10, they had 20 people coming in and were swamped. I just felt lucky to be able to eat here, that is how good it is. But they came to us with a glass of sparkling wine for our wait. That was very thoughtful. Clayton was our... More

La Boca is a Spanish restaurant located in the historic section of Santa Fe, NM. Happy hour is 3-5 pm, and there is a small menu with tapas and wine specific for happy hour prices, which are half off the regular prices. The tapas were very good small portions, so we ordered five different types to sample for our party... More

My husband and I had dinner here one evening on a recent trip to Santa Fe. We walked in around 6:30 without a reservation and were able to sit at the bar. If you want a table, make a reservation in advance. We enjoyed sitting at the bar, however. Lauren took good care of us, and recommended a few dishes... More

My family of four went to dinner here two nights ago. It was a real challenge for the kids to eat (limited palates) but my husband and I loved it. Our waiter was outstanding and the food was stellar.

Just arrived in Santa Fe and on a friend's recommendation we made a reservation for La Boca. Wow! This place really delivered in every way! The tapas were sensational, our server was fantastic and the wine list was great too. Our server came over right away and explained the menu which, in a tapas place can be confusing. He suggested... Brightly lit, tables set close, staff had trouble squeezing through, waitress intimidating. That said, the food was unique and flavorful! Sauces/"chutneys" like sweetened sage, cherry port w habanero hot, tarragon pesto. Had a feeling we were there at short-staffed time. Wine expensive. Would go again.

Have been to this restaurant on each of my last two visits to Santa Fe. If you are taking a break from Southwestern cuisine, and you are up for some high quality, creative and uniquely flavored tapas takes, this is your place. If you are looking for big portions and on a budget, this is not your place. The restaurant... More

Description
Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso.
La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez.
Full to capacity almost every night since its opening, La Boca has been a hit with both locals and the world travelers that visit Santa Fe. La Boca has earned numerous awards both local and national, including the Santa Fe Reporter’s “Restaurant of the Year,” and the International Wine and Food Society’s “Award of Excellence.”
