So this is the way New Mexican food should taste. Salsa with chips had a little kick, red was mild, green hot. I had chicken fajitas with cooked vegetables. Fabulous flavor. My wife had Tamales, cooked in a corn husk. She asked me if you eat the outer part, I said sure? Whoops, I asked our waiter he smiled and... More

There isn't enough room to give them more than 5 stars. This is truly a hidden gem off the beaten path but everybody seemed to know since it was packed. We learned about from our hotel staff. So many choices with that said I have to tell you it is the best pork carnitas I have ever had!!! So delicious... More

Delicious! Try the Taos platter with chicken and get the Mole sauce instead of the chili. Wonderful SW Mexican style food.

Have to say overall disappointed. Service was prompt, marguerites served quickly. He then took dinner order and suggested rather than asked our appetizer preference, the table-side guacamole. That arrived, was prepared quickly and served, and we had no sooner had a few chips when our dinner arrived! The food itself was very tasty. The dinner was over in 30 minutes... More

Dined here with a large group and we all had a blast. We began with tasty margaritas - a selection is available - and the house-made guac, which was good, though the chips were not. Swift service considering 20 meals had to be served at once. I ordered the Rellenos de Santa Fe, a local twist on Chile rellenos. Very... More

The food at Gabriel's was very tasty and the margaritas were excellent. We ordered the tableside-made guacamole which was very good but a bit expensive. We probably won't order it again because of the cost. The smothered burrito was superb. The green chile was very flavorful. Service was great! We'd go back there again.

Found this place over 5 years ago & never pass it by now. The entrance is line with a coyote fence on each side & opens up to a outdoor patio of fountains & tables. Mexican food is wonderful, the atmosphere is delightful. Table side guacamole is excellent

Myself and 7 professional colleagues went to Gabriel's on a recommendation from a local. The atmosphere was very nice. The food, frankly, was lukewarm and mediocre at best. But what was amazing was the servers reaction, then lecture, when we wanted split checks. He rambled on and on and was angry, like he has never been asked this before. He stated... More

We were vacationing in Santa Fe and visited Gabriel's on the suggestion of our host. We weren't disappointed. The service was just wonderful! The tableside guacamole was absolutely delicious and our meals were also quite tasty. We would definitely return on our next trip.

Excellent service and the best guacamole in the world! Get the guacamole made table side but also consider a guacamole taco.
