We went to the Red Enchilada on a tip from a local. It was fantastic. We both had enchiladas and they were to die for! I will try to make it to the Red Enchilada any time I am back in Santa Fe.

I've never had a bad meal here. Stopped the other morning for a breakfast burrito smothered in some of the best green chili in town. Food quality is consistent good and service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable too. More of a "locals" place. If you are visiting from out of town and looking for a good place to... More

This modest Salvadoran restaurant makes excellent food, particularly breakfasts. The service is only average but we always leave happy.

The prices may be reasonable but the food is nothing special. There are better places to eat in Santa Fe.

The lunch was good, not great but a good value. Give it a try, I had the burrito with green. Tasty green but could have been hotter.

Of course you have to be able to stomach crying babies. But it's all part of the family atmosphere. Great service. Great food. YUMMY.

Friends told us the difference between New Mexican food and Mexican food is the chilis'- go to Red Enchilada if you want to try real New Mexican food for a good price. Which is hotter? Red chili's or green? Well, the heat is how they are grown, let water more heat so ask for the level of heat you want.... More

Santa Fe lunches can be pricey. The answer? Papusas! Get two - one with revueltas and one with calabacitas (both have cheese in them, too). Sometimes the curtido has some red cabbage in it, and always has jalapenos, but isn't too spicy. The salsa is very mild. The waitstaff is courteous, will substitute items, usually doesn't charge for it. Under... More

The breakfast burrito with red chile and chorizo is my favorite breakfast burrito in town! Their more standard breakfast items like pancakes are good, as well. Also try the pupusas -- like something between an omelette and a pancake, which you top with sauce and a sort of slaw.
