Visited Old House and had decent service but I did miss the top notch service from Joseph Chavez. My bartender made an effort to make my drink but no comparison to the cosmo I expected from my previous visits with Joseph. Happy Holidays!

Dinner is most enjoyable at the Old House Restaurant. I started with the crab cake , which was delicious. My husband had steak and I had the chicken for our entree. Both were tasty, tender and well presented. The vegetables accompanying each dish was different. The wine selection could be better. The dessert was great. Overall , it was a... More

My wife and I recently had dinner at The Old House Restaurant when visiting Santa Fe for a conference. Our server was very attentive, helpful and friendly. The grilled salmon entree I ordered was delicious and was very well complemented by the risotto and asparagus. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the scallop entree which, like the dessert she ordered, was artfully... More

Being from out of state, I had researched The Old House Restaurant, so when my husband and I arrived there for dinner, we expected to have an excellent meal. We were not disappointed in the least bit. We were also prepared to have excellent service by our waiter. What we weren't prepared for was how our server, Salvador H., went... More

I have eaten here several times in the last five years. The food is high quality and creative. I remember the food and menu being more amazing in past years but it is still one of the best restaurants that I'd recommend. My Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was awesome! My egg white omelet for breakfast was good too ~... More

Met friends for breakfast here today and experienced great, friendly service and good food in a relaxed and refined setting. Breakfast took a bit long to arrive, but quality suggested that was because everything was freshly prepared rather than off a steam table. Portions were very generous. Loved the green chiles with my huevos rancheros and hubby loved his steak... More

The main reason for this review is for Jose Gonzales that works the morning shift at The Old House. We have been staying at the Eldorado Hotel since it opened 30 years ago. Jose has been a mainstay at Breakfast for years and is the most helpful, gracious and kind waiter they have. Jose always greets us by name, always... More

Had breakfast here while staying at the El Dorado Hotel. Great menu. My husband thought the Chile on the hue is rancheros was the best he's had on this New Mexico trip. I enjoyed my blue corn pinon pancakes. Service was great.

We had breakfast here. My husband was in the mood for a waffle and I had the carnitas hash. Both of us were delighted with our meals. The service was good, but slow as there were two tour groups at the hotel.
