We've gone here frequently, most recently this morning. You order at the counter, and take a number holder to your table, where you are served. The atmosphere is very laid back, the staff, though small in number, is very friendly, the prices are quite reasonable, and the food quality is good and dependable (though they are heavy on very so-so... Love the vibe of Counter Culture; have been 2-3 x when in Santa Fe. Their lattes are delicious...great coffee base, not too strong, just tasty. Salads are fresh, crisp and nice ingredients. Their baked goods seem homemade and are wonderful. I enjoy the outside seating area, wifi, the vibe, the people. I don't know his name but the barista is... More

I love the feel of this place and had great expectations. The menu is current and appealing, so I was eager to try it out. It has a big-city vibe which I love, as I am an out-of-town visitor. However, the food needs some tweaking in my opinion. On my first visit I ordered a combo meal with salad, 1/2... More

We had breakfast at Counter Culture and enjoyed delicious smothered vegetarian breakfast burritos and lattes for a reasonable price. We ate outside which was a nice treat since we were going to spend much of the rest of the days in a car or a series of museums. Prices were very reasonable and the orders came out quickly. Bravo!

The vegan burrito is not on the menu, but is great. Smothered in green chili. They also have a curry that is vegan. The spring rolls are not vegan. They could make a lot more effort to provide vegan options. Not sure why the best vegan item is not on the menu and you have to know about it and... More

Tucked into a corner of an unassuming strip of retail and industrial spaces, this cafe represents the best of the Baca Street vibe. The food is great, people friendly, and if you visit on a nice day, there are plenty of outdoor tables at which is sit and relax.

This is a very neat place. You order from the counter, get a number, sit don and your breakfast is delivered to you. You also help yourself to coffee, silverware, condiments and water. The breakfast we had was very well done, but the potatoes were a bit strange...not quite sure how to describe them. The decor is modern industrial. Lots... More

This has been one of our favorite breakfast places in Santa Fe for years. The chile is good; their coffee is one of two only decent (i.e., strong!) places. But they consistently burn a pancake, turn the burned side down, AND put the burned one at the bottom of the stack of 3. I usually have to bring the pancake... More

This lunch was so delicious and generously-sized that I would have expected it to cost more. The soup of the day was salmon coconut. The bowl was large, the soup was so tasty - more gourmet quality than what I expected from a cafe. I just couldn't put my spoon down until it was gone. The half sandwich (I got... More
