A favorite with locals and "2nd home" folks! Cash only is the key to get in. Huge cinnamon rolls to be shared by 2-3 people. Christmas (chilis) breakfast burrito chunked with egg and large pieces of Potato. Evening menu looks very good will try on next trip. Very small parking lot. Plan early to arrive.

For people with a discerning taste for coffee, Counter Culture offers flavorful, aromatic coffee with a kick. Staff are very friendly and the owner is full of smiles. Nice place to have a healthy breakfast.

Yupp, it's the truth. I go at least twice every time I return to Santa Fe for a visit. Get the beer-battered salmon tacos and a slice of chocolate cake.

Casual friendly dining in bare bones decor. Place your order from the chalkboard -11 or so egg dishes, 10+ sandwich choices, an equal amount of salads, even pancakes at breakfast and lunch. Service fast; portions generous. Food fresh and good. Get the immense cinnamon roll but avoid the rock hard biscotti! Oh, there's dinner too- fish and chips, trout, grilled... More

We've gone here frequently, most recently this morning. You order at the counter, and take a number holder to your table, where you are served. The atmosphere is very laid back, the staff, though small in number, is very friendly, the prices are quite reasonable, and the food quality is good and dependable (though they are heavy on very so-so... Love the vibe of Counter Culture; have been 2-3 x when in Santa Fe. Their lattes are delicious...great coffee base, not too strong, just tasty. Salads are fresh, crisp and nice ingredients. Their baked goods seem homemade and are wonderful. I enjoy the outside seating area, wifi, the vibe, the people. I don't know his name but the barista is... More

I love the feel of this place and had great expectations. The menu is current and appealing, so I was eager to try it out. It has a big-city vibe which I love, as I am an out-of-town visitor. However, the food needs some tweaking in my opinion. On my first visit I ordered a combo meal with salad, 1/2... More

We had breakfast at Counter Culture and enjoyed delicious smothered vegetarian breakfast burritos and lattes for a reasonable price. We ate outside which was a nice treat since we were going to spend much of the rest of the days in a car or a series of museums. Prices were very reasonable and the orders came out quickly. Bravo!

The vegan burrito is not on the menu, but is great. Smothered in green chili. They also have a curry that is vegan. The spring rolls are not vegan. They could make a lot more effort to provide vegan options. Not sure why the best vegan item is not on the menu and you have to know about it and... More
