I've been to Bobcat bite. It was the best burger ever. This was ok but not great. Just disappointed in the fall off in taste.

Finally made it to the Santa Fe Bite. NOT DISAPPOINTED! They do have the best green chile cheeseburger and regular burger in Santa Fe. The burgers come with home made chips which are delicious. The ambiance is a very nostalgic 1950's---loved it! Service is great...More

We had two meals there, a light dinner and breakfast the next day. I had a salad for dinner, and it was amazing. Breakfast the next day was quite good and an outstanding value. It's a family-friendly place, but also has a full bar.

I generally do not eat burgers out but a friend suggested Santa Fe Bite. The meat was excellent and grilled exactly the way I wanted it --- rare. Would have liked a choice for cheese besides Swiss and American (I opted for all Swiss). Was...More

Cheeseburger was OK (needed a MUCH BETTER bun), patty melt was OK and the fires were very standard. Nice looking place....I was expecting a lot more.

Great roadhouse cafe type food served by great staff and owners on premise all the time...they are the ones bussing the tables. Great food just enough off the Plaza to not be mobbed usually. Alcohol served also. Our fav place when visiting in Santa Fe....More

My experience with this restaurant goes back to their Bobcat Bite days. This downtown Santa Fe edition has lots more room, a larger menu, a brighter and cleaner environment and the same great food. I've never been disappointed.

The Green Chile Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benny is AWESOME! Prices are fantastic. Go hungry and go often. Their burgers are great too!

Description
The Famous Green Chile Cheeseburgers are back! John and Bonnie Eckre, formerly of Bobcat Bite, are taking their food to the next level at the new Santa Fe Bite located inside Garrett's Desert Inn on Old Santa Fe Trail. In addition to their savory Green Chile Cheeseburgers, Santa Fe Bite features fresh tacos, fish and chips, sandwiches, a choice of French or sweet potato fries and a little something they like to call 'The Big Bite' that comes with a side of buttery garlic bread. Creamy milkshakes and homemade lemonade are just some of the sweet treats popping up on their new menu. Also, we are now serving beer and wine. Santa Fe Bite opens at 8am Saturday and Sunday which means early birds can sample tasty Breakfast menu offerings like hot cornmeal pancakes with maple syrup, brioche French toast with maple caramel sauce and house-made biscuits with Mom's gravy. Spend a leisurely Sunday outside at Santa Fe Bite. The new Brunch menu includes eggs benedict, Steak & Eggs and Huevos Rancheros.
