My husband and I ate at Il Piatto for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and the location was convenient to the Santa Fe Plaza. I ordered a pasta dish which was outstanding and my husband had a yummy chicken entree. The is a lovely restaurant that is both relaxed yet nice.

Happy Hour from 4 to 6:30. Most appetizers which are gourmet quality are half price. You can also get half portions of several of their entrees for half price. Wines are high quality and only 5$. Sit at the bar if you can.

This trip I found my share of places that seem dated, tired, or maybe just tired of catering to tourists. It must be hard to keep a great concept going year after year in Santa Fe when there's so much competition. Il Piatto felt like one of those places. Ate there early and found many older residents dining, getting the... More

Like many of the mid-higher end places in Santa Fe, Il Piatto does not deliver great value. The room is quite pleasant, intimate and graceful; the staff is professional enough and provides good service. The food is well prepared and nicely presented. But what you pay for what you get does not add up for this "value shopper". My recent... More

BLUF: This place should be at the top of the list! A wonderful dining experience! We made our reservation via OpenTable and we arrived during restraunt week, the place was packed! The staff was courteous, attentive and timely all night long. We even got two apologies For having to wait for our table for a paltry 10 minutes. The food... More

Valentine's Day dinner. Ambiance quite pleasant. Service sharp and personable. Mushroomed appetizer delicious, but severely over salted. Trout entree spectacular. The bread is irresistible.

We went to Il Piatto for happy hour dinner on a Friday night. It was crowded but our Waiter was great and helped us get our order in for happy hour prices. I had the trout and friends had the steak half orders. Both were excellent. Also had the wedge salad which was ok and really great stuffed mushrooms. Wine... More

We planned ahead to hit this restaurant during happy hour 4:30-6:00 to take advantage of lower prices. It's a great way to enjoy a glass of wine half-price as well as appetizers half off and entrees half off with a smaller portion. I prefer smaller portions so that I can experience flavors of several dishes. The ravioli appetizers were great... More

It was quit a time since my last visit. But a I could spent my money somewhere else!. The menu has been the same for the last couple of years, and the food was nothing this side of good, and to top that, the service was terrible.
