We ate at Jambo four times during our two week stay in Sante Fe. Every dish was made with care to match ingredients and flavor. Terrific variety of food and every dish we had was great. Recommend especially: savory stuffed phyllo, peanut chicken stew, coconut...More

I highly recommend a reservation for this packed, busy restaurant located in a strip mall. Without a reservation, we ended up seated at the bar which was cluttered with take-out orders and located right next to the kitchen. I would not recommend this location. The...More

We visited their newly-opened Albuquerque restaurant tonight. It was superb. Mark, our waiter, directed me to the Kenya beef kabob. It was an excellent choice. I highly recommend this place. We’ll be back.

Facade fool you. This is a unique eatery in restaurant friendly Santa Fe. The food is great and has very unique menu for this part of the Southwest. Again, don’t be fooled by the outside appearance.

The only reason for my 4 star is for my Jerk chicken. I am not a fan of the leg-thigh combo, I feel that for the price they charge it should be a breast piece. I was still hungry after my meal. Now the Kenyan...More

My friend and I went there Wednesday night. She got the jerk chicken and I got the Harissa lamb on pita bread. My food had no harissa that I could taste, the lamb was stringy and tasted of fish. My friends' jerk chicken was covered...More

You don't need reservations...but don't plan to arrive at 12 noon! Earlier or later is best.

The dishes were not heavily seasoned, but all of ours contained sodium. There are links on their website for their menu and to ask jambocafe directly.
