There's nothing foofy or super creative about Atrisco, which is generally a plus in Santa Fe. Usually, local attempts to do something special turn out to be a disaster. But for both locals and visitors, a chance for some solid New Mexican Spanish food done right is nothing to sniff at. Atrisco is in a mall, with all the usual... More

When we visit from Denver, we always go to our tried and true restaurants, but this time wanted to branch out. Looked at this place on TA and Yelp, and decided on it. Easy parking in a big mall lot, good size restaurant, nicely decorated, busy but seated immediately around 6 pm on a Sat night. We always use blue... More

The place is well located next to other shops and with a big parking lot Food was very good and local: the veggie-filled sapatilla were tasty and in a correct quantity (usually portions are massive) Their tropical green ice tea (although simply green tea) was good as well

Traval through Santa Fe a few times a year. Always eat at Atrisco. It's in a strip mall near a Ross on the north side of downtown. Great food and service. Had the meat loaf with jalapeño falvor (mild) and vegetables. Generous portion. Really tasty and I love meat loaf. Very friendly and attentive service. Reasonably priced. Terrific selection of... Don't let the location in front a big mall and next to a clothing store fool you. This place had a wonderful selection of NM food favorites. The prices were reasonable and service was friendly. I think the owner is Greek? Anyway, there were some NM dish renditions with lamb that were AMAZING. Off the tourist-beaten path, but worth the... More

Ate there on a Sunday night, so the place was not crowded, but we were seated at a small table right outside the kitchen door for some reason. We asked to be re-seated, and they accommodated us. Enchiladas were fine, but the carne adovada was dry, tough, and chewy with a not-very-good taste. After quite a while the server came... More

After arriving in Santa Fe around 12:30, we were starved. Our hotel recommended Atrisco; so glad they did. Even though it was about 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the place was full. A good sign for the food quality. The aroma welcomes you as you enter...just a hint of the treat to come. Really, really good food. I found the... More

The host at our Inn recommended it. It was very close and we had a delicious meal there. We found out that it is run by the same family as Tia Sophia's. Well worth it.

Service is wonderful. Really wonderful. Whole grain sopapillas so good. Hot red chile sauce on par with the best.

Had the green cheese enchiladas twice. As a New Mexico native, these were as good as I have ever eaten. Lots of green chile and incredibly tasty. Priced reasonably, especially for Santa Fe.
