This is an established restaurant in San Antonio--a local's favorite. The chicken soup was loaded with vegetables and chicken on the bone--delicious!

Are u kidin' me! This restaurant is old school and awesome! The wait staff are bilingual eng/span and they run it like a boss. Fast, efficient and friendly. I had the Tuesday special of chicken fried steak. It was awesome! But then as I looked at other patrons I saw they were eating carne guisada, enchiladas, tacos, etc and I... More

I have been going here for 25 years, it hasn't changed one bit. Deluxe Mexican dinner comes with 3 enchiladas, rice beans, a taco and chalupa plus some guacamole. Make sure you tell your server you want the enchiladas bubbling hot, you wont regret it.

I should have taken a photo of what I ate for breakfast, but I'll try to remember next time. One of my favorite things to order here is the potato, and chrizo breakfast taco! It was really, really good! I'll also give kudos on the eggs over medium! They were perfect! You'd be surprised to know that not every restaurant... More

This looked like a great Mexican restaurant. Full parking lot, a lot of claims for awards, clean, well kept. But it pretty much ended there. Food was average at best. Fajita meat was not grilled, and didnt have alot of flavor. The cheese enchiladas had a chili type sauce with real cheddar cheese on top, but the cheese enchiladas were... More

On a busy day, we sat at the bar and ordered our tacos and coffee. That coffee is amazing. Our tacos were delicious, but had no salt whatsoever. I don't mind having to add salt. The part that bothered us is that we wanted to order more tacos and coffee, but were ignored the entire time. My sister tried flagging... More

Was in the area and always try to stop if they are not Packed w/ folks and since it was early we were able to get a seat. This is the best old style tex-mex food in S.A. The Deluxe Mex dinner is what to order.. 2 plates of food for 8.95... can't beat it.. Umm

This is a small Mexican café that caters to local diners. If you are tired of the typical Mexican restaurant and want to try a café that is more traditional then you might want to give this place a try. This place is not fancy, most of the tables and chairs do not match, and most of the customers are... More

My wife & I go to SA every year for a getaway. We've never been disappointed when eating here! I mean NEVER. They have daily specials and extremely reasonable prices. Admittedly it's not on the "Riverwalk" but it is well worth the short drive. We have enjoyed many lunches there and you will too! The cheese enchiladas in the red... More
