Went here for a special occasion--belated Christmas present from my daughter and her husband. We ordered a bottle of cabernet which was moderately priced but very satisfactory. Some wines there are very pricy so if money is no object, go for it. We each ordered...More

It's a dog-gone shame that such a lovely setting and friendly service has such bland food. My wife's lasagna was a dried out lump of ground meat with absolutely no liquid. My chicken piccata had a good presentation but no taste, the chef must have...More

My wife and I had our first visit to Aldo's for Culinary Week. They had a $25 3 course menu with a few choices for each course. I tried the calamari. It was lightly breaded and generally tender. It was served with a marinara dipping...More

Truly a timeless gem in San Antonio. They repurposed an old house and it feels so inviting. We were early for our reservation so they invited us into the "living room" which also houses the bar to wait on a comfortable leather couch. I could...More

Aldo's has been located in a delightful old home (80 years old) since 1985. It was a cold rainy night for us to try this hidden gem. We can't wait to go back in the Spring and sit outside on one of it's many patios....More

Came her for lunch with my parents. I had the lasagna which was great. Lunch plate all come with the house salad and bread which is a filling meal for lunch. Sitting on the enclosed patio on a sunny afternoon is lovely.

Aldo's is in an old house on the edge of the medical center. The house is surrounded by old oak trees. It is an oasis of tranquillity in the bustling medical center. The building is warm, comfortable and attractive. Nicely decorated. The waiters are excellent...More

Aldo greeted us at the door, as usual. Service here is impeccable. The escargot appetizers were as good as any I've had. My favorite is the salmon salad, which was great again. I also tried the trout, which was fresh and nice. Treat yourself and...More

Great ambience in a great location. Aldo's also has outdoor seating under beautiful trees. The service was attentive but not obvious. My wife's chicken picatta was delicious. My lasagne was average. It was very meaty which I prefer but it needed more sauce. Most important...More

They have a fairly extensive wine list. I do not THINK you can bring your own, but I would call the restaurant and ask as I am not sure.
