Simple, I went for Rudy's Smoked Turkey and Creamed Corn, nothing else. Nothing else will do once you have had those two items off their menu. Excellent, I was not disappointed at all. I did dine in at 5 :10 pm so did beat the...More

I've eaten at Rudy's a few times before, and came away underwhelmed. I ate there last night and I got blown away. I don't remember if they had the "Chopped" menu option when I ate here before (Chopped is a chopped up medley of brisket,...More

It was surprisingly quiet for a restaurant. The food was great! It was very clean. The staff were friendly offering samples of their cream style corn.

Typical barbecue dive, attached to a gas station. When I drove up, I was excited. I was confused about which door to use, and mistakenly went into the convenience store first because there are tables there, but you order on the side with the picnic...More

I think I could live off their cream corn, peach cobbler, smoked turkey breast and their sausage. WOW! On this trip, my wife and I took my mother in law for her first time and we are so much we probably should have napped before...More

Great, classic, slow-smoked Texas barbecue. Quality is consistently good; Turkey is exceptionally moist; Sauce is outstanding; however, beware... It is very peppery. Sides are very good... Cream corn is excellent but kind of pricey; Staff is extremely polite and helpful. Military discount and their commitment...More

The brisket had a good flavor but it was cold. The pinto beans and potato salad and barbecue sauce was very good. If the brisket would not have been cold, I would say it could have been excellent.
