We have been coming here for years & had great experiences. Unfortunately, this was an off year? or night? We ordered drinks & queso to start. It took our waiter forever to bring us our drinks & than he added they were out of queso! What mexican restaurant runs out of queso? So we ordered another appetizer but the service... More

The food here is about average for Mexican restaurants, but really Mexican food doesn't vary all that much. That said, one called La Isla in Corpus Christi did stand out for quality. What we noticed about Rosario's is the noise level, which is really loud, and unnecessarily so. If you like shouting and not hearing much then this is the... More

Always enjoy Rosarios. The food is consistently good and the service is friendly and helpful. I especially enjoy the posole. Though not on the riverwalk, it is a pleasant walk from the hotel district. I have been here for lunch and dinner, alone and with big groups. The service is alway accommodating.

Food is good but way too noisy for conversation with friends. Like the salsa. Parking is difficult as it is a very busy place usually. Overrated by others, in my opinion.

We ate here 6 years ago when we were in SA and we fell in love with the food, especially the salsa. We had to return and it did not disappoint. My husband craves the salsa and the fresh margaritas. The food was authentic and very filling. You need to stop and have a try.

Shrimp tacos, oh my gosh, to die for! Chips were warm and crisp, salsa fabulous, and our server, Jose, was truly on top of his game! Love this place! We will definitely return!!

Very nice atmosphere and festive.... Only downfall was the walk to find the restroom, so glad I was sober! LOL They had a great trio playing music. Food we had fajitas at the reception in the banquet side it was good.

I've been coming to Rosario's since my law school days in the '80's when it was a new and not well-known little spot. This was the first time I'd taken my husband and it had been some years since I'd been in town, so I had my fingers crossed it would still be as good. Wish granted! Happy hour frozen... More

The wifey and I came here because the resort we stayed at a couple blocks away recommended this place. The wifey is vegan and she said that her dinner was the best mexican dinner she's ever had. The salsa with the chips was unlike any salsa we've ever had and was very delicious. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable... More

We discovered this place by accident. We had driven past it before and decided what the heck. We had eaten at a much more famous place by the Mercado the night before so we had that fresh in our minds to compare it to. And now we won't go back to the other place when we visit SA. Everything tasted... More
