Some of the food was great. We had the cheese appetizer and liked it. My husband has scallops and loved it. I had the paella and it was bad. My standards are high as I am from Spain ... but don't order the paella .... the service was great and the live Spanish guitar was wonderful

We completed a 10 mile hike before coming down to the Restaurant, so we were hungry! The Mimosas were great and constantly flowing. Our Server was there to attend to our every need. The brunch buffet spread was diverse and all of is was fantastic. We ended the feast with freshly made banana's foster. The view was fantastic too, we... More

My wife and I dined here one evening. We had this on our list for a while due to the high recommendations and a couple referrals. No problem making a reservation. For a Friday night, it wasn't too crowded. Service was pretty attentive, restaurant was pretty quiet, and a nice selection of menu items....though many standard items that make it... More

We ordered a la carte, but an extensive buffet was available. Huevos rancheros and omelette were very good. Coffee was good and the service was impeccable.

I have eaten at Las Canarias many times, and it never fails to impress. We were at the hotel for an election party (Either good or bad, depending on your affiliation), and had dinner Tuesday the 8th of November. I had corn chowder, with lump crab and house-made potato chips and bacon crumbles to start. Sublime! Grilled Salmon with haricots... More

I spent a few days in San Antonio for a recent conference and had brunch at Las Canarias. I ordered the San Antonio breakfast, which was eggs with cCorizo. The highlight was the scratch made Guajillo sauce, and our server Fred was top notch.

I enjoyed a lovely table on the Riverwalk for dinner while in town for a conference at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent, which really made for a pleasant experience. The margarita was quite good as well. The food wasn't bad, but a bit over-seasoned for me. The pork tenderloin was too salty, and the... More

This restaurant is inside La Mansion on the Riverwalk. My husband and I went for a relaxing weekend and decided to order room service a couple of times. The food is from Las Canarias and it was delicious! The first night I had a chicken caesar salad. It had a southern twist with the addition of corn and a kind... More

Really good food in a wonderful setting. I had the San Antonio breakfast specialty with homemade Chorizo... Excellent. My husband had the French Toast and loved that too.
