This place is always crowded so that's a good sign. Because of that the service can be spotty. But if you can get in the mini tacos are really amazing. Try different ones. The larger tacos are ok and some of the other dishes are better at other places. So stick to the minis and you and your bottle of... More

When we see the local cops eating someplace, we know it is the real thing at a good price - and that's what we got at La Jalisco. For excellent food in a no-frills environment, this is the place to stop.

I ate lunch here one day, and did taco take out another day. The lunch (tamales) was nothing special, but the tacos are quite good. Don't go here for atmosphere; it is quite pedestrian (a hangout for locals). For the price, the food is fine.

I been to this restaurant during my lunch break twice before and I had a very good experiences every time, Lilly was very friend and fast. But today it was a very bad experience, the waitress assigned to my table had a bad attitude, she didn't bring any chips or salsa (which everyone else around me had, it's what they... More

The food was very good and very inexpensive. For four people all getting lunch our total was $46. Hotel recommended and they were right. Definitely try!

Although the menu is mostly breakfast and lunch, we went for dinner. It was great! The biggest burritos I have ever seen. The salsa was wonderful. The service was great. The ladies are so nice. This was exactly what I was looking for. I don't want to go to the typical tourist places. I'm always looking for the places that... More

Good food, friendly service. Kid friendly. The young ladies who work there are young but will take care of you. Not an extensive menu and no seafood but that keeps it simple. Prices ranged from $6.99 a plate to about $12. Very affordable place.

I knew that I was in for a treat on my trip to San Antonio. Jalisco was what I expected. Typical fare, presentation, and price. I got a little show from the senoritas playing on the juke box too. I'm sure more of that goes on when the sun goes down.

Breakfast tacos, Mexican come and hangover relief. Definitely worth a stop if downtown. Had dos tacos y chorizo Poe favor (you sing that part...) and they was great.
