25 Friends came to The Grill at Leon Springs... Each guest got great service, what they wanted to eat and drink... In quick fashion from a top notch crew of servers. The Chef made great appetizers (his choosing) that were delicious and brought everyone to the next level of "happy"! Without exception, our friends were all treated like special guest...... More

Played a round of golf with some great friends outside of San Antonio in a re-purposed limestone quarry and was headed home around dinner time. Our friends suggested we stop a The Grill and we are very glad we took their suggestion. We arrived just at 5pm when they were opening for dinner, quickly were seated and then greeted by... More

At first, the monthly Ladies Sunday brunch looks expensive, but with the atmosphere and high quality food, it's definitely worthy of the price tag of $21.95. This includes brunch buffet of multiple salads, omelet station, carved meats and an assortment of selections (we had curried chicken, shrimp pasta, roast beef, and a tenderloin I believe). Add additional $7.95 for unlimited... More

We arrived 10 minutes prior to our 1130am reservation and was seated immediately in the dining room. The place was like an anthill - crazy busy! As we entered the dining room, we couldn't help but notice the line to the buffet - there must of been two dozen people waiting. Personally, we waited in line over 10 minutes to... More

I've heard about " the grill " but I had never been until today . Started out with calamari steaks . They were tender & moist . For the main course I had pappardelle bolognese . The spices were a beautiful blend . I felt like I was eating my grandmothers dish @ Christmas dinner. My waiter was Bill &... More

The Grill at Leon Springs does it ALL right! From the complimentary valet parking to holding the door as you leave, this is a rich experience. The house margaritas are subtle excellence, the French Onion Soup has to be the best in Texas....and is a meal in itself. The Wedge was just right...oh, and the candied walnuts were the added... Sit outside on the patio, inside in the bar or inside in the dining room? Too many choices and all good. We selected the bar and had some great wine and selected tapas. All very good except the calamari (real disaster). Probably too far from the ocean but the frozen critters and decision by the chef to chop the calamari... More

Atmosphere is great. Food is always good. Great bands on the patio that is covered and heated on cool evenings. Service is spotty on the patio and at the bar. Dining in restaurant area always has good service.

I had never been before and was very pleased with good selection and service. We ordered blackened drum fish and beef tenderloin, both are excellent. The bread served with vingarette when we were seated was very tasty and we both had desert of Apple Crisp and Chocolate NY cheesecake. We plan to return in the future.

We tried the Grill at Leon Springs specifically for the Sunday brunch and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is located a few miles northwest of San Antonio on IH-10 and is easily accessible. The service is genial, and the buffet is sumptuous and delicious. We would suggest that you go to the omelette station soon after you are seated,... More
