Stopped in on the way back to Tucson after seeing it on Maps and the reviews. It's a hole in the wall, but was a great experience! Steak was grilled to order and everything tasted great. Locals keep mostly to themselves and service was friendly...More

For a place in the middle of nowhere you’d never expect to get such great steaks and wonderful thin crust pizza. Meats are cooked on a mesquite grill in front of your eyes and atmosphere is uniquely western Well worth the trip

It is a little out of the way on a dirt road, but that adds to the charm. The building is old and could use some work and the grill is in the middle of the room. The food is good, the service is not...More

Fred's is an old time country bar and restaurant a little out of the way, but worth the drive. the steaks cooked over the mesquite fire are very tasty, it's not a fancy place, more a cowboy bar

This is a unique desert dirt road experience. Great mewquite ateak in a middle of the restaurant unique grill. Very resonable price. Great cowboy atmosphere. Not fancy but food is good. Have been many times. Better mesquite than pinnacle peak.

Unusual place out in the Arizona desert that used to be a horse farm and arena. Now it is a full service restaurant with a western horsey atmosphere. Their specialty is steaks cooked on a grill in the middle of the big dining hall. Not...More

Three of us drove 22 miles to eat at this steak house and were greatly disappointed at the quality of the food, the time it took to prepare the food and the slow service. The restaurant was not busy when we were there. It definitely...More
