We ordered linguine. We got spaghetti. When brought to the attention of Michael, waiter, he said he forgot to tell us their linguine is really spaghetti! he suffered from hubris. The food was heavy with heavy sauce. Salt was the main taste of all dishes. We did not stay for dessert.

Giacamos has absolutly no ambiance, it is situated in the middle of a strip mall, the food is OK, it is overpriced for the flavor and presentation, It feels more like a place where you would grab a quick bite to eat for lunch, If you are looking for great italian food in the tucson area this is not it,... There are way too many other Italian places in Tucson to eat here. Poor execution of the food and poor service

Food is average at best and over priced. I asked for a different kind of pasta than was described and was told the chef's (cook) recipes were not to be changed. Not very friendly place.

We live in the neighborhood, and made a resvation for a nice Italian dinner. What a disppointment! I had a chicken dish with a sauce reminiscent of wallpaper paste. My wife had pasta with a sauce that was so spicy that it was inedible. Never again!

Went last night with my sister. We're visiting Tucson while staying at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, and Giocomos is located 5 minutes away. The house salad presentation is very clever, wrapped in cucumber. If I closed my eyes, I would think I was eating field greens drenched in oil; the lemon and seasonings promised on the menu were not... More

With reservations made a week in advance for 10 people, the tables were not ready when we arrived. No waiter was available so a bus buy was used as our waiter. He was not old enough to serve alcohol so it was a hassle getting a glass of wine with dinner.. The owner's wife sat at the cash register visiting... More

After 8 months of seeing each other and living together for 5 out of the 8 months, my boyfriend eventually decided to take me on a date at Giacomo's. I had never heard about it, even though I had dined at many Italian restaurants before. Mark made a reservation ahead of time, and picked me up promptly at 7:00 pm.... More

I ordered a wonderful, bursting with flavor Spaghetti Bolognese & my wife had the Pasta Alla Vegetariana with a spicy red sauce to die for. The wine list was great as were the imported deserts! As a starter you must try the salad wrapped in cucumbers ! This Little Gem in the Desert would fit right in with all great... More
