Excellent meal in this old cafe, We stopped in for lunch today and enjoyed a bowl of excellent gazpacho followed by 2 salads. I had a Nicoise and wife had a spinach with chicken. Very good meal!

We will make gazpacho yearly when it starts to move into summertime and our temperatures soar; it helps to take the sting out of that heat! We are so appreciative of any feedback that we get from our guests, and we are so thankful that you had a good experience with us and let us know about it! Keep us... More

The Cup Café is a local gem. It is hopping on weekend nights and for Sunday brunch. There is sometimes live music on a patio shared with the hotel bars. The dinner menu includes everything from a terrific steak to great sandwiches and salads. Prices are moderate. Sunday breakfast or brunch is wonderful on the patio outside and includes both... More

The old Hotel Congress has a great vintage vibe ..the lobby and the décor and the music playing the background ( by a real musician ) is unique touch . The Bloody Mary bar and the choices you get are amazing ! If you cant choose a Bloody Mary here then you must be wearing a coat in 90 degree... More

I could write so many detailed reviews about the food at the Cup. But trust me on this one - their chocolate pudding is second to NONE on the planet. And I am a chocolate aficionado. I love the staff, the ambiance and their killer cast iron baked eggs and their Cubano is something I save for the rare times... More

That chocolate pudding though! It's HEAVEN! We are so blessed to have the most incredible baking and pastry staff in house that makes all of our desserts from scratch, in-house, every day! We are so happy that you found something so special to you inside of our walls. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we're... More

We stayed at the hotel and made our way to the restaurant--excellent choice. We had a large party, so we all tried different things of the menu. The wasn't one compliant; in fact, there was only praise. The quiche was amazing and large. I had the huevos rancheros; one of the best I've ever had. Excellent service, friendly staff. It... More

The Cup Cafe is located in the Hotel Congress, highly recommended by many travelers in the past almost 100 years (John Dillinger was an exception). The cafe itself features both inside and outside dining. Our brunch on a beautiful May morning was just a bit warm to eat outside for us non-natives, so we chose to dine inside. The breakfast... We're glad John and his gang didn't use Trip Advisor, that fire in 1934 would have probably gotten us a pretty profound 1 star review. We're so happy that you had such a great day with us on your Tucson adventure! We are very proud of our historic building, as well as our incredible kitchen staff who makes all of... More

Quaint little place, but not our cup of tea. Appeared to be more of a bar than a cafe! It was crowded and noisy for a holiday Monday morning. We arrived at 10:45 and were seated at 11:20. We were seated at a small 2 top in the line of travel. My wife had a delicious omelet and I had... More

We're so sorry that you didn't enjoy yourself on Memorial Day with us! Being that we are open 365 days a year, holidays tend to be our busiest of days since many other places in the area is usually closed. Our tiny restaurant tends to be the place to go, and sometimes it gets pretty busy! It sounds like our... More
