I had lunch here and was delighted to see that the menu offers meals for light eaters, which describes me. So I ordered a chicken taco with rice ($4.95). It came quickly, covered the entire plate and was piping hot. The tasty rice contained peas and carrots. I found the taco shell to be slightly burnt and the shredded chicken... More

Small place, but big on flavor! Their weekly specials are incredible. My husband loves their green chilie enchilada. I love that you can get a smaller portion - selecting either beans or rice (as I can never eat both)! Beer or wine only - but the food is worth the trip!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food look no further. We sampled several different dishes and they were all excellent. We sat on the back patio that is just perfect and the staff was awesome. We liked it so much we came back on our last night in Tucson. I wish I could take them back to Colorado!

Best Mexican food that I've had in years. We ate here on Saturday night and then came back on Monday. Delicious salsa and dishes and excellent and friendly service.

This tiny restaurant on N. 4th Avenue is a treasure. Although it appears small it really isn't as there is a side dining room and a beautiful patio out back. If the weather is right ask to sit on the back patio. The chili relleno is a real green chili pepper hand stuffed with cheese, dipped in a wonderful light... More

I ate here for the first time a couple of nights ago. There were 5 of us in my party and we all loved our meal. It really is some of the best Mexican food I've had in the US. I had a combination plate with 3 items. The Chilie Rellenos were the best that I have ever had.

La Indita is a small restaurant in a shopping area in downtown Tucson, located on Fourth Avenue. My niece and I had lunch there. It was crowded, always a good sign, and we ate in an outside patio area out back. My niece is a vegan and so we each ordered a vegetarian entree and shared -- minus the cheese... More

This family owned restaurant has been in business for over 30 years..that alone should tell the story , but it does not. Entering this charming 4th Avenue restaurant, you are more than likely greeted by one of the beautiful women who are the face and soul of La Indita. From generation to generations..mothers, daughters, brothers and sisters work to be... More

Very good late lunch on March 5th as we finished some shopping and site seeing on 4th Ave. There are a lot of Pizza and beer joints but some locals recommended La Indita as we were leaving a consignment store. My wife had the excellent chicken enchiladas with green salsa and I had the Navajo Tacos which were really, really... More

Don't be put off by the atmosphere at this restaurant. It may look like its very simply designed, but if you are looking for the real thing, you'll find it here. Not only was the food tastefully prepared, but I'd challenge anyone to find another restaurant serving Mexican food (in Tucson) that is also so reasonably priced. We visit Tucson... More
