We stopped for our daily coffee and were a little disappointed. The expresso drink we ordered did not match what we have had in other places. We liked the slightly edgy atmosphere!

Best funky coffee shop in town, open 24/7. No parking out front, I cheat and park across the street. There are other fancy schmancy coffee shops, but the atmosphere at SITD is as funky as Tucson.

Totally off the wall place for an excellent breakfast. I enjoy just going in to have an ice tea and read my newspaper. Cool for people watching.

Seriously! I needed a place to study late last night. I had passed by the cafe several times but never stopped. It was raining heavily as I entered the cafe. Accessing the door is quite a task in the rain as the parking is either a block down or across the street. So I had someone drop me off at... More

In the hart of Tucson's down town you will find funky little bohemian cafe with plenty local color. The coffee is great and the food very interesting with quite a verity. I love their hand made hamburgers and my wife loves their skinny Greek salad with a bunch of cool stuff.

I came in with a friend and ordered two eggs over easy and when they showed up they were over raw. The whites were still crystal clear. When I sent the food back the cook was instantly on the defense. "You ordered over easy!" he snarked.. Yes I did and then I said, "Well make them over medium then." The... More

We wound up in downtown Tucson the other night and it was ten or eleven and we wanted a small bite, maybe a fish taco. Unfortunately, the places we checked had already closed the kitchen but a bartender at the Congress Hotel sent us to the Shot in the Dark. It is a small older building and seemed more like... More
