Frank's is a eating spot frequented by locals and visitors alike. Home cooking kind of spot, patio dining when temps a little warmer than our visit. Lovely view of river separating USA and Canada. Clean bathrooms, service was excellent, and food was yummy. What else...More

The food was fantastic. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The crab stuffed mushrooms were excellent, and the deal Bernadette was also excellent. There was one waitress for the entire restaurant and she did an amazing job. My friend's meals were...More

While visiting Lubec we enjoyed eating here with casual dining, good clam & fish basket, clam chowder, and fish sandwich. Food and service was very good. Would eat here again.

Great local food, casual atmosphere, attractive setting. Simple and pleasant. Indoor and outdoor seating right on the water, affording views of the FDR bridge and surrounding area.

The seafood at Frank's was very good. Nothing like fresh seafood. Service was excellent and had a nice outdoor deck. Take out was also available. Prices were very reasonable. Best food in Lubec.

I don't like giving a bad review and maybe we hit an off day for Frank's Dockside. The service was very slow and portions were on the stingy side for the price. We also have an adult son who got food poisoning from the clam...More

In answer to my own question. Dogs are allowed on many decks/patios in Maine. Ruby was in fact allowed on this one as well as others in Lubec.
